0x800CCC00: LOAD SICILY FAILED – Authentication did not load
- Close and restart Outlook Express.
- If the error persists, wait 20-30 minutes for a server reset of your account and try again.
- Possible user account corruption in Outlook Express. Set up a second identity to test if it works.
0x800CCC03: USER ALREADY CONNECTED
- Ensure you are not logged in from another device. Close all connections and wait 20-30 minutes.
- If your account is “Poplocked,” wait for it to time out or have someone stop the mail task on the server for UNIX accounts.
- If neither applies, someone may be accessing your account, or there is an account-related issue.
0x800CCC05: NOT CONNECTED TO THE SERVER
- Check if you can access web pages. If not, try reconnecting or rebooting your device.
- Verify that the correct mail server is listed in your account settings.
- If access is still unavailable, check DNS numbers or reinstall TCP/IP from Control Panel > Network.
0x800CCC0A: MESSAGE DOWNLOAD INCOMPLETE
- Possible corruption of the pop3uidl file. Close your internet connection, find and delete the file.
- Reboot and check mail again.
- The error may be caused by a corrupt or large attachment. Large files or missing headers may trigger this issue.
0x800CCC0B: SERVER OR MAILDROP IS BUSY
- Retry every 5 minutes to retrieve emails.
- Ensure no other devices are logged in. If “Poplocked,” wait or stop the mail task on the server.
- Check if someone else is downloading from your account.
0x800CCC0D: SERVER COULD NOT BE FOUND
- Your firewall may be blocking access. Configure it to allow Msimn.exe (Outlook Express) and Outlook.exe (MS Outlook) and ensure outbound access to port 110 and inbound to ports 25/2525/587.
- Disable any antivirus email scanning features.
