Introduction

If you want to transfer your domain from IPServerOne to another provider (reseller or registrar), you’ll need to follow a few simple steps, starting with getting the EPP code (also called the transfer authorization code). This code is necessary for a secure transfer and is required by your new provider. In this guide, we’ll show you how to generate the EPP code through our customer portal and explain what to do if you can’t get it automatically

  1. Obtain the EPP Code via Customer Portal
    • Log in to the Customer Portal at https://portal.ipserverone.com using your primary login credentials.
    • Click on “Domain” under “My Service” and then click on “Manage” for the domain name you wish to transfer.
    • On the next page, click on Manage Domain.
    • Click on Registrar Transfer and then Request EPP Code. The EPP will be sent to the primary email address.
  2. Request EPP Code (if unable to generate)
    • If you are unable to generate the EPP code, send a request from the primary email address to our customer support  at cs@ipsereverone.com or submit ticket via customer portal.
  3. Provide Details to the New Registrar
    • Once the domain transfer is initiated by the new registrar, the administrative contact listed in the WHOIS information of the domain will receive a notification.
    • As the losing registrar, we will also receive a notification and will proceed to approve the transfer.

Once you have the EPP code, the transfer process will proceed smoothly with your new registrar. Remember, you’ll need to provide the correct WHOIS information for the administrative contact to receive the necessary notifications. If you run into any issues along the way or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to our customer support team.
