I want to transfer my domain from Exabytes
To transfer your domain name from Exabytes to IP ServerOne, please follow these steps:
-
Ensure your domain is in active status with at least 10 days remaining before its expiry date. This helps prevent interruptions, as the transfer process typically takes 7 to 10 days.
-
Confirm whether you wish to transfer only the domain name or the domain name along with DNS management.
-
If you’re transferring DNS management, decide whether to update the DNS before or after the domain transfer. This depends on your current DNS provider, as it may be the same or different from your domain provider.
-
-
Obtain the authorization code (EPP code) from your current provider (Exabytes).
-
Send the EPP code to us via email at cs@ipserverone.com.
-
If you have an existing IP ServerOne account, provide your Customer ID (e.g., CID: C123456) or registered email address.
-
If you don’t have an account, share your contact information (name, contact number, and email address) and company details (company name, registration number, address, and phone number, if applicable).
-
-
We will issue a proforma invoice for the domain transfer. The domain will be charged and automatically renewed by the Registrar upon successful transfer.
-
After payment is received, we will initiate the domain transfer. This process takes around 7 to 10 days and requires approval from the current domain owner (as listed in the Whois record), the losing registrar, and the new registrar.
-
We will notify you once the domain transfer is successfully completed.
