How to Check Your Server Status via Nova Chatbot
Perform a server ping test to quickly confirm whether a server or website is reachable, measure how fast it responds, and detect potential network issues such as delays, connection interruptions, or packet loss. This simple diagnostic helps ensure the server is operating correctly and identifies any connectivity problems promptly.
1. Access Nova AI Chatbot
- Open Nova AI Chatbot from the IPServerOne website, Knowledge Base, or Customer Portal.
2. Start the Diagnostic
- In the chat, type “server down” or “website down.”
- The chatbot will respond with a few possible next steps or related articles.
- Choose the option “Run Server Diagnostic.”
3. Provide Your Domain Name
- When prompted, enter the domain name you want to check (for example, yourdomain.com).
4. Review the Diagnostic Results
- Nova will perform a quick check and provide you with the following information:
- Server Status (UP or DOWN)
- Host
- Response Time
- Packets Lost
- Host IP Address
If the server is UP
“Based on diagnostics, the domain is UP and running.”
In this case, please check:
- Your domain status (e.g., whether your domain is active or expired).
- Your server account status (e.g., whether your hosting account is active).
If everything looks correct but you still have issues, select “Chat with Human” for further help.
If the server is DOWN
“Server diagnostics indicate that the domain is DOWN.”
