To connect your domain to your NovaCloud instance, you’ll need to update your domain’s DNS records to direct traffic to your server’s IP address. Here’s how to do it:
1. Obtain Your NovaCloud Instance’s Public IP Address
- Log in to the IP ServerOne Customer Portal:
- Access the portal at https://portal.ipserverone.com.
- Navigate to NovaCloud Instances:
- Click on NovaCloud in the left-hand menu.
- Select Instances to view your active instances.
- Retrieve the Public IP Address:
- Locate your instance and note its Public IP Address.
2. Update Your Domain’s DNS Records
Depending on where your domain’s DNS is managed, follow the appropriate steps:
A. If Managed via IP ServerOne Customer Portal:
- Access DNS Management:
- In the Customer Portal, click on NovaCloud and select DNS.
- Select Your Domain:
- Find your domain in the list, click on Actions, and choose Manage.
- Modify the A Record:
- Edit the existing A Record or add a new one:
- Name: @ (or your domain name)
- Type: A
- Value: Your NovaCloud instance’s public IP address
- Edit the existing A Record or add a new one:
- Save Changes:
- Click Save to apply the updates.
B. If Managed via Another DNS Provider:

Log in to Your DNS Provider’s Management Portal:

Access the platform where your domain’s DNS is hosted.

Locate the section for managing DNS records.
