FAQ on Point System for NovaCloud Platform
What is the new point system?
Introducing IPSERVERONE’s new points system designed for transactions within our cloud self-service portal effective 20th August 2024. Your points can be used for the usual actions like purchasing services under our NovaCloud platform.
How do I purchase/ top-up points?
Point top-up system remains the same as the previous credit top up. Points can be top-up via https://portal.ipserverone.com/order/cloud.
What is the conversion rate between MYR credits and points?
1 MYR credit is equivalent to 1 point in our new point system.
Will my existing MYR credits be converted into points?
Yes, your existing MYR credits will be converted into points at the conversion rate of 1 MYR credit to 1 point on 20th August 2024 onwards.
How do I check my points balance?
You can easily view your current points balance by logging into your account on our IPSERVERONE Customer Portal and navigating to any of the “NovaCloud” service and your available points will be displayed at the top right corner.
Can I still use MYR credits if I prefer?
No, with the transition to the point system, MYR credits will no longer be applicable for NovaCloud platform transactions. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this transition period.
Purchase of top-up, domain, LinkMail email hosting, Fidrive, Smarthand, SSL service,invoice payment and renewal of service still remains using the order checkout process.
What can I spend points on?
You can utilize the points for NovaCloud platform services such as instances, network, DNS, load balancers, Redis, Memcached, object storage.
How will my subscription or services be affected by this change?
Your services, estimated cost and transaction log under the NovaCloud Platform will be reflected in points instead of cloud credit/MYR.
Can I top up points using foreign currencies?
Yes, our new feature allows you flexibility to topup using foreign currency. [Refer to Multicurrency section FAQ].
