🛠️ What To Do If Your Servers Are Offline
What should I do if my servers are offline?
If your servers with IP ServerOne appear to be offline, here are the key steps you should take:
1. Check Server Status via Customer Portal:
- Log into our Customer Portal to verify if your NovaCloud or Dedicated Server shows as offline or unreachable.
2. Remote Access via KVM/IPMI (for Dedicated Servers):
- If you have a Dedicated Server, try accessing it through KVM or IPMI to check for OS-level issues like kernel panic, boot errors, or resource overuse.
3. Ping & SSH Test:
- Perform a basic ping test to your server’s IP address.
- Attempt to SSH into the server to see if the service is reachable.
4. Firewall or Network Configurations:
- Ensure that firewall rules or security group settings are not blocking access to your server, especially if you have made recent changes.
5. Check for Overdue Invoices or Service Suspension:
- Sometimes services can be suspended due to billing issues. Make sure your account is in good standing via the Customer Portal.
6. Contact Our Support Team:
- If all else fails, please submit a support ticket through our Customer Portal for immediate assistance.
⚠️ Important Note: Avoid rebooting or reinstalling your server if you are unsure of the issue, as this could lead to further data loss.
