How do I unlock my domain name status for transfer?
Unlocking your domain name status (also known as disabling the domain registrar lock) is a necessary step to initiate a domain transfer.
To unlock your domain, you’ll need to change its status from “clientTransferProhibited” to “ok.”
If you need to unlock a domain with IPServerOne, you can request this by submitting a ticket through the Customer Portal’s Help Center or by emailing us from an authorized email address at cs@ipserverone.com.
If you’re transferring a domain to IPServerOne, please unlock it through your current domain provider.
