Is my expired domain eligible for renewal, and how long after expiration is it released for public registration if not renewed?
The domain renewal grace period lasts 40 days, during which you can renew your domain at the regular price. If the domain is not renewed within this time, it enters a 30-day redemption period, where you can still renew it, but an additional fee will apply based on the domain extension. After the redemption period, the domain enters a 5-day pending delete phase, during which it cannot be renewed or restored. Once this phase ends, the domain is released to the public, and anyone can purchase it on a first-come, first-served basis. To renew your domain, simply type “Domain Name Renewal,” select the option, and follow the instructions to complete the renewal process. Make sure to renew on time to avoid additional fees or losing your domain.
