What happens if I don’t renew my domain after it expires?
Upon expiration, the domain will be automatically suspended for 40 days. After this period, it enters a 30-day redemption phase, during which a domain restoration fee is required to recover it. The fee varies based on the domain extension.
On the 71st day after expiration, the domain’s status changes to “pending delete,” meaning it can no longer be renewed. It remains in this status for 5 days, during which the Registry decides whether to release the domain to the public or auction it to a third party.
