Purchasing a domain name from IPServerOne is a simple and efficient process. Whether you’re launching a new website, expanding your online presence, or securing a unique domain, our user-friendly portal makes it easy to register your domain.

This guide will take you through the steps to register a new domain name using the IPServerOne customer portal. By following these instructions, you’ll be able to search for available domain names, choose the right DNS plan, set up your registration profile, and complete your purchase with ease

Steps to Register a Domain Name:

1. Visit IPServerOne Portal and log in using your Primary or Secondary (Purchasing Role) user credentials. Once logged in, click on New Order at the top of the left panel. Then choose Domain Name.

2. Check on Domain Availability: Enter the domain name you wish to register in the search field. Click the Search button to check its availability.

3. Available domain names and extensions will be displayed. Click the + button next to the domain you wish to register.

Note: If a domain is marked as available but cannot be registered, it may be classified as a Premium Domain. In such cases, please contact our customer support team for assistance, as the registration will need to be processed manually.

4. You will be taken to the Order Summary page. To proceed, you need to choose a DNS plan that suits your needs:

Available DNS Plan as below:

• Free DNS Plan: Includes 2 DNS records (excluding Name Server & SOA). Ideal for basic websites.
• Standard DNS Plan: Up to 30 DNS records (excluding Name Server & SOA). Costs RM0.14/day.
• Premium DNS Plan: Up to 50 DNS records (excluding Name Server & SOA), includes URL redirection. Costs RM0.50/day.
• Premium Plus DNS Plan: Up to 300 DNS records (excluding Name Server & SOA), includes URL redirection. Costs RM0.99/day.
• Own NameServer: Use your own name server by entering your name server details as below:

Note: Note: If you choose an IPServerOne DNS Plan, your domain will point to these NameServers: ns-1510.ipxcdn.com and ns-2379.ipxcdn.com. For more details, refer to DNS Hosting Plan FAQ

5. Choose the Registration Profile.

This step involves setting up the WHOIS information for your domain registration, or domain registration details including Registrant (Company / Individual (depending on domain extensions), Technical, Billing, and Admin contact details. You can select from an existing profile or create a new one by clicking Add Profile.

Then, fill in the required information and click Save Changes.

6. Once the registration profile for the domain has been selected, click on Next

Note: If you choose the default profile, the information will follow your current account details.

Ensure your account profile is complete. If it is incomplete, update the missing details by clicking Edit Profile.

If you are using a DNS plan from us other than the Free Plan, ensure your account balance is at least RM50. Top up if necessary, by selecting the amount from the dropdown menu and clicking Next.

7.  If you have successfully completed the Registration Profile section, you will be directed to the Domain Configuration section upon clicking Next. Review the details and confirm it by clicking Confirm.

8. Your domain will be added to your cart. Click Checkout to proceed.

9. Your cart will display the purchase details and total amount. Click Checkout to finalize your purchase.

10.  Complete Payment

Choose your payment method:

•  Online banking: Redirects to your bank’s login page.
•  Credit card: Enter your credit card details.
•  Business bank account: Redirects to the login page.

Conclusion:

Once payment is completed, your domain registration will be submitted to the registry.

• For .my domains, registration usually completes within 1 hour, but MYNIC may occasionally request supporting documents.
• For .com.my, .biz.my, .net.my, and .org.my domains, verification may be required, and supporting documents might be needed
• For top level domain (.com, .net, .org, .asia, .biz) will be automatically registered once payment is successful.
  This guide not applicable for other countries domain extension. The registration will be process manual.

You will receive a notification at your primary email address once the registration is successful. Typically, the entire process takes 1 to 3 hours if there are no issues.
