Prerequisite
- Login access to DirectAdmin
- Non-Admin user are required to Admin user to change the permission
Step-by-step Guide
Step 1: Login Account
- Login into Direct Admin as user.
Step 2: Navigate to File Manager
- On the left side of the portal, under System Info & Files, choose File Manager.
Step 3: Change the permission of the selected file
- Select the file to modify permissions, click the (…) in the top right corner, and choose Set Permission.
Step 4: Save the changes
- Update the permission and click Save. To change permissions for all files in a folder, make sure to tick the Recursive checkbox.
