Introduction

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for secondary users managing multiple accounts in the portal. Whether you’re new to this feature or need a refresher, these guidelines will help ensure a smooth and efficient experience while navigating primary user accounts.

Accessing Primary User Accounts

To access a primary user’s account:

  1. Log in to the customer portal, and click the Management Mode icon at the top right. Then, select the primary user’s name from the list to access their account.

Note: Secondary users may be granted access to multiple primary accounts.

  1. The next page will confirm you are accessing the primary user’s account. To exit, click the [x] button.

Manager Role Access

If you are assigned the Manager Role, you can use Delegate Access on behalf of the primary account to:

  • View, grant, and remove roles for yourself and other secondary users.
  • Set up or remove notifications for yourself and other secondary users.

Role-Specific Access and Abilities

The portal provides different access depending on the role assigned. Below are the specific abilities for each role:

Manager Role

  • Manage secondary users and assign roles.
  • Set up notifications for secondary users.
  • Access My Services to view service lists.
  • Assist with name server changes, WHOIS updates, and domain ownership management.

Technical Role

  • Manage services through NovaCloud.
  • View a list of services.
  • Submit tickets via the Help Center.

Billing Role

  • View services that are expiring or have expired.
  • Access My Services and the Billing & Payment sections.

Purchasing Role

  • Make purchases via the Dashboard or My Services section.

Visitation Role

  • Access My Services and the Data Center menu to submit visitation requests.
